Authorities needed to send patrols out to the street along the Kaldfjord, to clear up the congestion from motorists attempting to monitor the whales and shoot pictures.
The whales began arriving in the place two weeks ago and they were still soaring from the water and making huge bellyflops over the weekend. The whales were anticipated to carry on to feed in the herring for a while longer before heading back out to sea that was open and continuing their journey.
