Whale and Dolphin watching off Sri Lanka in the Indian Ocean from the west coast up to the south east coast. Whales are mostly sighted only in December while dolphins can be seen all year round A 14 day expedition covers 7 days of whale/dolphin watching and 5 days to see more of Sri Lanka - coral reef; nature reserve; tropical rain forest; wildlife park; a 500 million year old limestone cave and botanical gardens The standard itinerary can be rearranged to include more days of outdoor camping in wildlife parks; nature reserves and jungle/mountain treking thus reducing the no of days for whale/dolphin watching. |
