Schaafsma Charters offer daily scheduled boat trips around the harbour and to nearby islands to view the Dolphins Porpoise Wright whales Hump backs seals and abundant bird life All trips are on a sailing boat. Trips vary in length depending on client requirements. We are situated in the main harbour of Saldanha Bay on the West Coast 1.5 hrs. drive from Cape Town. All trips embark from our unique and well known ""slipway"" Waterfront Restaurant.Relax and enjoy seafoods locally grown mussels and oysters and the catch of the day line fish. Our fully licenced bar will cater for all your refreshments. Enjoy a meal on your return from a boat trip or after. Refreshments can be enjoyed on the boat by prior arrangement All whale watching trips by prior arrangement only.Whale season predominantly from August - November although they have been known to be around until February as well. We also offer 2 day trips to Dassen Island. |
