Grand Manan Whale & Seabird Station As part of our research facility we operate a small marine natural history museum on Grand Manan Island; Bay of Fundy; Canada. The area is noted for its whalewatching; including humpback; minke; finback whales ; harbour porpoises; Atlantic white-sided dolphins and the rare North Atlantic Right Whale. Our museum brings together information about these species and others through interpretive displays which include artifacts; photographs; drawings and biological specimens. Adaptations to a marine environment; behaviours; identifying individuals are just some of the displays. A great complement to the whale watching tours available in the area. |
