Whale Watching Expeditions to Scammon's Lagoon & the Sea of Cortez. Up-close viewing of migrating whales and dolphins on both sides of the cape Join one of our exciting fly-in whale watching expeditions to Baja and get remarkable views of migrating Gray Whales in Scammons Lagoon and the Sea of Cortez. We'll first fly Guerro Negro located near Scammon's Lagoon on the west coast of Baja. Here we'll stay for 3 days and boat into the waters of the lagoon in search of Gray Whales which have come here to give birth mate and frolic in the calm protected waters. Next we'll fly across the Baja peninsula to our wilderness resort - La Unica for a 3-day stay. From here we will venture onto the Sea of Cortez by boat in search of Blue Humpback Fin and Pilot Whales. We'll also have a chance to see huge schools of Dolphins traversing the seaways. These trips are truly a whale watcher's dream come true. |
